Welcome to Global Urban Datafest - Tegucigalpa!

The Global Urban Datafest is a multi-city hackathon, an intensive weekend of collaborative work. The event will bring together two groups of participants; on one side, developers, scientists, designers and hardware enthusiasts (among others). The other group will include city officials, journalists, social workers, NGO members and private enterprise representatives. The emphasis of this Datafest is to analyze and build software and other applications that help the authorities, companies, and the overall population of our cities to improve their quality of life.  

The event will be held consecutively on several Latin-American, U.S., and Spanish cities on February 21st and 22nd. The format of the event will be a hackathon (development marathons); the event be held on February 21st starting from 10:00 AM and extended until 5:00 PM  Of Sunday 22nd We’re expecting the involvement of 30 to 60 people, who will be participating on the development of multiple technological projects.
