Welcome to Open Data Day/City Hackaton in Granada
Granada has been hosting the Open Data Day for two years already, last year it was hosted at the University of Granada by the Free Software Office and mainly devoted to analyzing university data. This year the opendata/transparency portals at the university has been launched, and a new project related to traffic data has been granted, so our intention is to focus on
- Open data at the university.
- Traffic data: prediction, patterns, networks, mapping.
We will make a presentation of the all-new transparency law in Spain, and attempt to - Release new city traffic data sets.
- Link university data to city data.
- Create simple apps to leverage them.
The hackaton will be open to all developers, students, open government advocates and practitioners and city and university officials and will take place at the University of Granada during weekdays, and online and at ad-hoc places during the weekend.
